The app isn't available on any of my smart TVs. I cant even get the app to work on my phone. Only viewable on my laptop, otherwise I'd cancel it. You're better off waiting until all the issues are fixed before purchasing and until more platforms are included. Update 6/13/2020 HBO Max can now be casted on Chromecast which is great. However, the app still won't work on my Google pixel 3xl. I've uninstalled and installed the app several times. I can't even get to the main login page.

Great content we can't access. To the HBO customer service person that responded to my review: No it is not a settings issue- I looked at that already. And it doesn't consistently load with WiFi either. I get a "oops something went wrong pop-up". Look at all of the other recent one stars reviews about the app not functioning... Apparently you all have something to fix here. Thank you.

Don't even bother if you're planning on using it on an Android TV. Whenever I'm streaming a show the app crashes when I click back to go out to the main menu. Afterwards it keeps crashing everytime I reopen the app and select my profile. The only fix is to create a new profile everytime I want to watch something. Not worth it, there are plenty of streaming services out there with apps that work. For me it's happening on a Sony Bravia TV - Android 9
